The service and the information this policy covers
Parler Technology LLC publishes Blueberry: Newborn Tracker. In this policy, Blueberry means our website and the current web app at blueberry.fyi. References to we or us mean Parler Technology LLC.
This policy explains information handled when adults visit the website, set up accounts, record care, share household access, export records or contact us. Information that identifies a caregiver or baby, or can reasonably be connected to them, is treated as personal information.
The iOS and Android apps are planned. Their released versions will have disclosures reflecting their actual operation. A description of a planned feature is not a statement that it is available today.
Where your records are kept
The current web app uses server storage for account details and baby-care records. This supports access by authorized household members. Your browser may also retain preferences, session information and cached data.
The planned mobile approach stores baby-care records on the phone for offline recording, review and export. Account and access services are separate from those local records. Later mobile synchronization will require its own accurate disclosures before it is enabled.
Do not interpret on-device storage as a promise that every type of account information stays on the phone, or that records will automatically return after changing phones or reinstalling an app.
Information you supply and information the service creates
- Account and membership information: account email, sign-in credentials, display name or caregiver relationship, household identifiers, roles and account status. Passwords are stored as hashes rather than readable passwords.
- Baby and care information: profile details you enter, including name, birth date and other available profile fields; feeding, sleep, diapers, growth, care notes, timestamps and appointment-related information.
- Service and access information: sessions, verification status, account or device identifiers where a feature uses them, trial status and technical details needed to operate and protect the service.
- Correspondence: the sender information and content in messages you choose to send to support.
Some registration and verification information is handled before account setup is complete. Technical requests can include an IP address, browser or device information, requested resources and timestamps. These details can be generated by the server or infrastructure used to deliver the service.
Free-text notes can contain more personal information than a feature requires. Please avoid recording unrelated sensitive details or anyone else's information without appropriate authority.
What information is used for
We use information to operate accounts, verify access, maintain household records, present timelines and charts, calculate activity estimates, provide requested exports, send account messages, answer support requests and investigate service or security problems.
Forecasts use recorded care activity to produce estimates for the household. They do not determine a baby's health or needs. The Disclaimer explains the limits of using those estimates.
The purposes described here do not give us ownership of your family's records. Any future use materially different from these disclosures must be assessed and explained before it is introduced, with any notice or consent required by law.
Infrastructure, email and other destinations
The service relies on infrastructure to deliver pages, protect connections and send account emails. The current web deployment uses Cloudflare for network delivery and protection and for account-verification email delivery. Those functions involve technical request information and, for verification messages, recipient details and message content.
Account-verification emails are not intended to contain baby-care records. Support email is different: email providers process whatever you include in your message. Start with only the information needed to explain the issue.
Other disclosures may be necessary to respond to a lawful request, investigate fraud or a security incident, or protect people and the service. A significant change to the organization operating Blueberry would require appropriate treatment of information and notice under applicable law.
Opening an external link or choosing another app as an export destination brings that provider's own terms and privacy practices into play. This policy does not control copies held by a recipient you choose.
Website preferences, cookies and local copies
The marketing website stores the light or dark theme you select in your browser. Its current pages do not embed third-party advertising or analytics scripts.
The web app uses session cookies and browser storage for sign-in, preferences and supported caching or offline behavior. Connection and security services may separately process technical information. This is not the same as collecting baby-care records for an advertising profile.
You can adjust browser settings for cookies and site data. Blocking necessary storage may affect sign-in or features. Clearing data can remove preferences or cached information and sign you out; review and export anything important before doing so.
A browser cache is not a promise of a complete, recoverable backup. Changing browser privacy settings also does not delete records already held on the service's servers.
Files you export or share
Export features create readable copies of the information included by that feature. Check an export before relying on it: separate notes, settings or appointment fields may not be part of every export format.
An export may identify the baby or caregivers and include personal care notes. Protect the file and choose its destination carefully. The receiving app, storage provider or person may retain or transmit a separate copy.
Deleting information in Blueberry cannot remove those external copies. A readable export is also not necessarily a file that can be imported to restore an installation.
Retention and the limits of deletion
Information is retained for the purposes described in this policy, including providing household access, maintaining records, resolving requests, protecting accounts and meeting applicable legal obligations. The appropriate period depends on the information, why it is held and whether a request or obligation requires a different outcome.
Active service data, security logs, operational backups, local browser copies and exported files are distinct. An account action does not necessarily remove every copy immediately. Some limited access, request or security metadata may remain when needed to document an action or meet a legal requirement.
When you request deletion, we may need to distinguish an individual caregiver's account from shared household records. We will explain the scope and outcome rather than treating an acknowledgment as proof that erasure has finished.
Reviewing information and making a request
Use the app's record-editing and export options available to your role, and ask the household administrator to review access when caregiving arrangements change.
For access, correction, copies, deletion or another privacy concern, write to support@blueberrybaby.app. Identify your account email and the type of request. We may need to verify identity and household authority before responding with personal information or changing records.
Do not send a password, verification token, complete care export or identity document in the first message. If additional verification is needed, an appropriate process should be arranged.
Rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing depend on the law that applies to you. These disclosures do not remove those rights, including any right to raise a concern with a competent privacy authority.
Babies' information and adult accounts
Blueberry is intended for parents and authorized adult caregivers. It is not designed for children to open their own accounts. Adults provide the baby information used in care tracking.
Only enter and share a child's information when you have appropriate authority. If you believe a child has supplied information directly, or that a person has recorded or shared a baby's information without authority, contact us so the situation can be reviewed.
Protection and processing locations
Account permissions, password hashing and secure network connections help protect access. Protection also depends on devices, browser settings and the providers involved in a feature. No technical measure eliminates every risk.
Keep account credentials private, use a protected device and report suspected unauthorized access. Information sent to another household member or exported elsewhere is also affected by how that person or destination protects it.
Parler Technology LLC uses the US contact address below. Infrastructure and email providers can process information in other locations. This policy does not promise that all information stays within a single country or on a single device.
Policy updates and contact
The finalized policy will identify its effective date. Changes to the service or its data practices may require an updated policy and additional notice or consent under applicable law. A newly released mobile feature will need disclosures that match its actual data flows.
